The rotenburo or outdoor hot spring setting is encircled by large rocks and pine trees blanketed by falling snow. A magic carpet travelator for beginner skiers and a play area for children with complimentary sleds and snow tubes are conveniently located just outside Basecamp.
Several bar and dining options are available that local seafood and seasonal Hokkaido produce. With the GREEN LEAF HOTEL NISEKO signature fireplace and full service bar offering cutting-edge cocktails, TOMIOKA lounge is a lively gathering place for coffee, après ski or light fare with friends. Japanese fusion buffet restaurant GOSHIKI offers three meals a day, featuring fresh local seafood and seasonal Hokkaido produce. Food quality is par for the course relative to the usual hotel fare but may not please more demanding palates. For that a trip to Hirafu or An’nupuri Village’s more refined dining venues will be required.
